Chaired by the RICS Regional Training Advisor, Martin Beck, the session will be fully interactive and give you the opportunity to ask questions of the panel, the candidate and your RTA. Synopsis: This event is specifically aimed at APC candidates and aims to give a brief introduction to candidates on the different types of insolvency proceedings, with particular emphasis on its effect on property.

Synopsis: Network Rail will update members on the New Street Gateway project which will transform the station into a bright modern, 21st Century transport hub for Birmingham and the region. This project is jointly funded by Network Rail, Birmingham City Council, Advantage West Midlands and Centro.

Synopsis: Andrew Cave of Harrison Clark Solicitors will outline the remedies available to commercial landlords in the event of tenant's default of its leasehold obligations, including repairs as well as rent and service charge payments. He will also look at the various forms a tenant's insolvency can take, the implications of each to the
landlord, what pre-emptive action can be taken and how to deal with the insolvency practitioner.
